Still Busy!

Last weekend was our first weekend staying home without any plans in a while. We thought we had no plans but by weekends end we had more than enough events to book ourselves all up. Friday night Leo had his league games, which I slept through. Yes I fell asleep at 7 PM on a Friday night and then woke up at 3 AM. So I got a jump start on my Saturday morning which involved making breakfast and hitting up the local yard sales. I scored a candle opera along with a vase. They were each $1 and after I spray painted white were much to my liking. Leo slept through the yard sales only getting out of the car twice, but at least he was there for moral support?

Saturday night Leo played in the All Night softball tournament in Fresno. His first game was at 11 PM and he didn't return home until 1 PM the next afternoon. Is he crazy about softball, or what? He umpired Sunday afternoon for seven hours and I played my Sunday league game. We were plenty tired by sundown and not ready to start our work week. So there was our quick weekend which didn't go out as planned, or did it? Oh well either way we we're still happily not perfect!

A Big Hello From All of Us!

"Hola" from Happily Not Perfect! We aren't going to bore you with the details of our whole story, but we will try and explain as quickly as possible. We are Leo and Shannon and we live with each other in Fresno, California. We don't have any children yet but have a dog who responds to the name Lola. We aren't rich but we have a savings account...which I guess separates us from most people these days. We aren't homeowners but continue to strive towards our goal of one day owning a home once I find a career. Yes I work but I am looking for a career which utilizes my Advertising Degree. We encounter challenges, laughs, travels and a lot of adventures. Here at this blog our goal is to share our experiences with friends, family and maybe even future friends. We hope everyone who comes to this blog takes something away positive and we can help you to be happy not being perfect...after all we are happily not perfect and loving it!
